Branding Guidelines
The Florida Debate Initiative is an organization that assists schools without existing programs to develop speech and debate, supports schools with existing programs, and most importantly fosters civic engagement through participation in forensics.
Summary
Their new logo needed to be fresh, young and professional. The website needed to convey their message clearly, and provide important information to students, schools and prospective coaches. Additionally, they needed a professional looking website and branding in order to pitch their organization for state and private funding. The Marcus Foundation committed $5 million over a three-year period to the Florida Education Foundation to increase students’ access to speech and debate programs. To show support for this initiative the Governor has requested $375,000 in the budget to implement this first-of-its-kind civics and debate initiative.
We were anticipating a lot of attention due to recent public and private funding commitments, so we needed to convey clear information on our site with a professional look to match our efforts. Adrien listened to our needs and translated it into a beautiful website and branding.
